50% Merlot, 17% both Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Zin, 2% Syrah and 1% each of Carignane and Sangiovese comprise this wonderful wine.

This is the second wine that I have had from Seven Daughters (www.7daughters.com), the other one being a white, and this one is equally as good. While the Sangiovese is one of the least represented in this wine, I can still taste its qualities in the wine.

This wine is perfect as something to try that's medium- bodied and not too heavy, nor tannic in any way.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
